When he was 4 years old, Mathis asked for a Tesla coil and a heap of coal. His favorite shirt has the AC/DC logo with images of Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison replacing the famous rock band. “Nobody got it,” said his mother, Mandi Mathis.
